In 2014 Moscow saw the opening of Mercure Baumanskaya (44 rooms), Radisson Sheremetyevo (391 rooms), Doubletree by Hilton Marina (270 rooms), Four Seasons (180 rooms). In addition, the hotel on Nikolskaya Street was trusted to the management of Starwood (St. Regis brand, 210 rooms). Hoteliers have announced the opening of several properties for 2015, with the aggregate room stock in excess of 1,300 rooms including Marriott Novy Arbat (234 rooms), Ibis Dynamo (310 rooms), Doubletree by Hilton Vnukovo (430 rooms), Hampton by Hilton Strogino (214 rooms) (JLL).
The RevRAR parameter was going down in Q4 of 2014, compared to the similar period in 2013, depending on the hotel class.
Hotels in the mid-pricing segment registered a moderate reduction in view of the plummeting load in this hotel segment.
